Hamro community is a community based non-profit organization founded in 2018 by dedicated volunteers in the western suburb of Melbourne.
Our mission is to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Nepal through various cultural and sporting events, children’s Nepali classes and dance programs. Additionally, we engage in social services, such as blood donations, all while fostering a sense of unity, support and belonging among Nepalese individuals and families.
Bring community and families together through recreation, sports and cultural events. Provide opportunities for young adults to be active, be fit, and be healthy.
Overcome potential language and cultural barriers among first generation Nepalese and Second-generation Nepalese. Bring our Nepalese community closer together through common interests in sportsmanship and competition.
Hamro Community was established in 2018. It is a registered not-for-profit community organization and is operated entirely by volunteers.
